According to Jorge Luis Borges, Xul Solar was the only person who could be perfectly at ease anywhere in the universe. Artist, mystic, philosopher, Xul Solar (1887 – 1963) invented at least two imaginary languages and a few possible worlds. A small museum in Buenos Aires – a modernist fantasy with a MC Escher feel to it – preserves hundreds of his paintings, his library, and his prepared piano that was meant to play both music and colors.
